ContentERP Google Docs Integration Privacy Policy

Introduction

  • Google Account Information: To enable ContentERP’s core functionality, we’ll require access to certain Google Account data, including:
    • Non-Sensitive Scopes
      • /auth/userinfo.email (See your primary Google Account email address)
      • /auth/userinfo.profile (See your personal info, including any personal info you’ve made publicly available)
    • Restricted Scopes
      • /auth/drive (See, edit, create, and delete all of your Google Drive files)
  • Google Docs Metadata (Limited Scope): To assist with the creation and role assignment of new Google Docs, we collect the following metadata:
    • Titles of newly created documents
    • Ownership information for newly created documents
    • Sharing permissions for newly created documents
  • User-Provided Data: You may choose to provide additional information:
    • Email addresses of team members for sharing
    • Role assignments (e.g., “owner,” “editor”)

Important Clarifications:

  • Restricted Scope Usage: Our use of the /auth/drive scope is limited to creating new Google Docs and assigning roles. We do not access, view, or modify any existing documents within your Google Drive.
  • App Verification: ContentERP will undergo Google’s app verification process to ensure transparency and user data protection.

  • Google User Data Access:
    Our application accesses Google user data to facilitate seamless document creation and management.
    Specifically, we:
  • Access Google Drive to create new Google Docs.
  • Modify document ownership and sharing permissions.
  • Import the document link into ContentERP. We do not access or modify existing documents without explicit user action. All data handling complies with our data protection and privacy policies.

How We Use Your Information

  • Core Features: We use collected data solely to:
    • Facilitate the creation of new Google Docs.
    • Automatically modify ownership and sharing permissions as per your instructions.
  • Service Improvement:
    • We may analyze anonymized usage data (with no personally identifiable information attached) to improve ContentERP’s features and reliability.
  • Support: If you contact us, we may use your information to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Information Sharing

  • Third-Party Service Providers: We may share necessary data with service providers who help us operate ContentERP (e.g., data storage). These providers only have access to the information strictly required to perform their tasks.
